Despite the advances made in recent years for women as a whole, women of color continue to be left behind in the effort to have more women in senior-level positions in the corporate sphere. And, frankly, there are few examples of companies where much progress has been made.
In this session, using the data from Working Mother’s Multicultural Women’s Conference, the report “The Status of Men as Allies for Multicultural Women” (which looks at the ways men have played a role in both advancing and hindering multicultural women in the workplace), alongside next practice case studies, we will examine concrete ways companies can address this challenge and make progress for multicultural women in their organization.
- Take away concrete examples of how to address the challenge of advancing multicultural women in your organization.
- Gain insights, based on years of research, on what works and what the opportunities are for advancing multicultural women.
- Leverage the expertise in the room to problem-solve for the roadblocks facing your organization to make progress for multicultural women.
