Location/Room: Marketplace Booth #713
Presenters: Lucian Tarnowski, BraveNew  |  Master Burnett, BraveNew

Description

Communities have long been about how we as human beings come together to accomplish more than any one of us could achieve on our own. Although we don’t often think about it, our organizations and teams are communities and are governed by the same dynamics. While use of social networks and collaborative tools have burgeoned in society, empowering and connecting disparate communities, adoption of social learning tools, and collaboration communities within organizations is often mixed at best.

During this interactive discussion, we will share the lessons we have learned over the past six years related to building effective online collaborative learning communities and explore how you would ideally participate and derive value from a proposed online community for The Forum.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Explore the six key success factors that can unleash any online collaborative learning initiative.
  • Discuss how access to an online community and ongoing dialog on diversity and inclusion subjects could empower you.
