Young people from communities of color have been disproportionately impacted by multiple traumas of the global pandemic, economic impacts, and racial injustice. For those transitioning into the workforce, these issues are exacerbated.
Now led by The Steve Fund’s mental health expert Dr. Jessica Isom, “Transitions into the Workforce: Strategies for Young People of Color” will discuss the unique experiences of young people of color during this period, and offer strategies to prioritize their mental health and well-being during their early years in the workforce.
Participants will leave the session with a greater understanding of systemic racism and its impact on mental health and well-being, as well as practical coping techniques.
