Global Citizenship: Not One Story
I have lived and worked in the Middle East, Africa, Europe and North America. Throughout my career I have moved seamlessly between private, public and social sectors globally.
In my recent professional endeavors I have led efforts in public policy advocacy, socio-economic development, surgical application of emerging technology trends, promotion of future foresight initiatives as well as leveraged my experience in public affairs, design thinking, entrepreneurship, impact investing, and strategic philanthropy throughout the Middle East, Africa and beyond.
I was honored with the Prince Al- Waleed Bin Talal Fellowship in 2010 and received my Masters in Public Affairs summa cum laude from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota. I have been frequently requested to lecture on topics related to innovation in public policy, future foresights, social media impact in government, human-inspired design thinking and co creation in public/private/social sectors.
Some of my latest initiaitives include catalyzing Palmwood a design thinking led initiative ( Joint Venture between IDEO and Dubai Future Foundation) to promote socioeconomic solutions in government, private and social sector as well as co founding SEED Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center which focuses on addressing youth unemployment in Middle East and Africa via lean launchpad methodologies.
