Chrystal Bell is the director of the Forensic Services Division for the Oregon State Police (OSP). She has worked for the Oregon State Police for more than 18 years and was previously the Forensic Services Division quality assurance manager. Her career has included work as a forensic biologist and a crime scene examiner.

As a founding member of the OSP Inclusion Team, Chrystal is passionate about creating spaces of belonging, shifting frameworks within organizations, and guiding individuals to do the same. She has spoken and facilitated on topics around race, identity and leadership. She serves as primary lead for the Inclusion Team’s Rapid Response Team. Chrystal earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Knox College.
