Jason Jackson serves as an HR Diversity and Inclusion consultant for HealthPartners. He holds an MA in organizational leadership and policy development and a BA in communications studies from the University of Minnesota.
Jason has served as the director of the Lealtad-Suzuki Center for Social Justice in the Department of Multicultural Life at Macalester College, where he led programmatic efforts centered on social justice that promoted the growth and development of students and the institution. He has written curriculum on race and identity, taught courses in the U of M’s Leadership Studies department, and served as the assistant director of the Gender and Sexuality Center (GSC) for Queer and Trans Life where his work centered on supporting students of color and enhancing educational efforts for staff, faculty, students, and outreach across the university.
Jason lives with his partner in North Minneapolis with their two dogs. He spends much of his time reading, woodworking, and growing vegetables in his garden for family and friends.
