2022 Conference Session: The Uphill DEI Battle Fatigue: Taking Care when There Is Misalignment (S4-G)

Jason Jackson serves as an HR Diversity and Inclusion consultant for HealthPartners. He holds an MA in organizational leadership and policy development and a BA in communications studies from the University of Minnesota.

Jason has served as the director of the Lealtad-Suzuki (Multicultural) Center in the Department of Multicultural Life at Macalester College, where he led programmatic efforts centered on social justice that promoted the growth and development of students and the institution. He has written curriculum on race and identity while teaching courses in the University of Minnesota Leadership Studies department and served as the assistant director of the Gender and Sexuality Center (GSC) for Queer and Trans Life where his work centered on supporting students of color and enhancing educational efforts for staff, faculty, students, and outreach across the university.

Jason lives with his partner in North Minneapolis with their two dogs. He spends much of his time learning the art of woodworking, and during summer growing vegetables in his garden for family and friends.
