2022 Conference Session: Is It Possible to Activate Allyship for a Global Workforce? Tools from LinkedIn’s Allyship Program (S2-D)

Michelle Rodriguez is a director on LinkedIn’s Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging team and she designed and leads the company’s Environment of Belonging strategy. Activating all levels of employees through allyship, inclusive leadership, and executive engagement, her team strives to build a world-class inclusive workplace. Michelle also leads LinkedIn’s employee resource group team that provides leadership development and operational support to 500+ employee leaders from nine global employee resource groups (ERGs) that impact 6,000+ employee members across 30+ offices.

Over 10 years, she has worked in the tech space at companies like VMware, Yahoo, and SAP focused on employee engagement and workplace inclusion. Before her career in tech, she worked in the nonprofit sector with immigrant communities and college access organizations.

Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science in sociology and ethnic studies from Santa Clara University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California. She is the proud daughter of Latino immigrants and currently lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and two kids.
