Dr. Jacqueline Palmer currently serves as the special assistant to the Strayer University President for Student and Alumni Relations. Having just celebrated her 15-year anniversary with Strayer, Jackie has served in a number of roles with Strayer University. Starting as a campus dean, she soon moved to various roles in the Office of Student Affairs including the dean of students, and then transitioned into her current role as special assistant to the president. In this capacity, Jackie is responsible for an array of proactive student outreach initiatives to ensure student and alumni engagement. Through continuously working collaboratively with staff and faculty, Jackie makes student success a key priority. This position handles the intake of all student inquiries via mail, email, phone and in-person visits to the Office of the President.
Jackie is inspired at every opportunity to enrich the lives of students of all ages and support others in their pursuit of higher education. She is active in both her church and community, and always enjoys the opportunity to champion the difference that education makes in one’s life.
Jackie holds a BS in administrative science from Yale University, an MS in technology management from Johns Hopkins University, and an EdD in higher educational leadership from the University of Pennsylvania.
